So informative and the guide was extremely knowledgeable. I cannot now remember his name but I think he had written some books on the venue and had once been the Sheriff of Belfast. He was very personable and had a sense of humour and happily answered questions. The visit was amazing and one of the highlights of my visit to Belfast.

We got a genuine insight into the origins and development of the troubles, as well as seeing the actual locations where key events took place. our guide Joe got the balance right between the two "sides" and his personal history added to our understanding and appreciation of events. Flexible pick up and set down points were a real bonus so we could plan our day better.

Spent a very enjoyable couple of hrs at the Crumlin Road jail tour the other day. It was a great insight into the recent history of Northern Ireland and its criminal fraternity. Really brings home the grim reality of what life would have been like, banged up in Victorian conditions at the time and in previous decades. Thoroughly enjoyable and our tour guide very knowledgable and clear. Book ahead if going or you may have to do some " time " in the Crum !
