The Belfast Landmarks Taxi Tours & Mural are an informative, light-hearted and humorous experience. As your expert tour guide shares a personal anecdote or nugget of local history, you can be sure that you will have seen and experienced the real Belfast. The Mural part of the tour will take you on an educational and enlightening journey of the famous Belfast murals.  You will learn the history and politics of Belfast and Ireland – particularly about the period known as ‘the troubles’.  We need advance notice to book this tour. Available at 10.30am or 1.30pm.

Looking for the Belfast Black Taxi Mural Tour?- including the main murals on the Falls and Shankill Road? Click here.

Your tour guide will be a local person, with local knowledge, who lived through the troubles.  They will explain how the murals help to tell the story of the Northern Ireland conflict and how we arrived at the current peace process.

The tour focuses on ‘both sides’ of our community.  You will visit the mainly Catholic (or Nationalist) Falls Road and the mainly Protestant (or Unionist) Shankill Road.  You will cross the ‘peace line’ or ‘peace wall’ that continues to separate both communities.  Both sides have used murals to tell their story, celebrate their past and raise awareness about how political decisions affected their communities.

Our Belfast City & Murals Taxi Tour is guaranteed to educate, enlighten and entertain. Our Black Taxi Tour by the original and official Belfast Taxi Tours company and is rated the maximum 5 stars on Trip Advisor.

Our tour was excellent..we couldn't have asked for more. Our tour guide promptly picked us up at our hotel. He was knowledgeable and anxious to share with us is knowledge of the murals as well as the Belfast city, as we took the combined your. He was eager to please and never hurried us at any of our photo stops, and there were many. I encourage all that are interested in a Black Taxi tour to contact Tiny Tours, and if you have questions, as I did, they will get back to you quickly, as they did with me via email.

First we were taken found the city which was great as we were shown interesting places such as Stormont, favourite pubs and the Big Fish which we later went back to on our own. Then we were shown some of the murals from the Troubles and heard some first hand history and views. We saw Catholic and Protestant murals and got some insight into the strong feelings in these areas. Praying that hurts can be healed. Recommended.
