our driver gave us a really great tour along a couple of hotspots of the troubles in Belfast. What I wasn't aware of before is, that there a quite a few stops where the cab stops and the driver provides very detailed historical background and also personal stories. After having visited the Free Derry Museum and subsequently taking this tour, I even started reading a more comprehensive book on the Troubles and in retrospect, I have to state that the views and stories of our driver seem to be quite neutral and honest, even though the FTA is certainly part of the catholic/republican side.
