It is a true measure of excellence in a tourist experience when a complex situation such as the Northern Ireland Conflict is explained with clarity and conciseness. My guide Isaac, proved to be a veritable 'Google on Four Wheels'; I asked so many random questions on the history and nature of 'The Troubles' and he was able to answer with both expertise and empathy for both sides of the situation. This tour is brilliant value for money and Isaac is an excellent ambassador for the company.

I came to Belfast knowing I wanted to do a “black cab tour”, which may not mean the actual cab is black, by the way! We had a rainy day, but John, our driver did not disappoint! We spent an enjoyable, informative hour and a half being informed on the Troubles and seeing the relevant sites. I personally did not realize the scope of the hatred and mistrust on both sides, even to the present, sadly enough.. it was a very worthwhile way to spend our time and John was great!

Thanks for an excellent tour this week in Belfast. The driver shared his extensive knowledge about the' Troubles', past and present with us. We appreciated his neutrality in explaining the situation to us, and his readiness to respond to all of our questions. His great sense of humour and flexibility was appreciated. I was impressed by the company's claim that they are co-owned and operated by a Catholic and a Protestant. I learned that they keep an equal number of drivers as well, and pride themselves of ensuring their drivers present both sides of the Troubles history on their tours. Our driver was David, who was a very likable and knowledgeable guide for our tour of areas of Belfast that have sadly had a dark history. David went out of his way to ensure we were exposed to all of the key areas and filled in several missing pieces of information and perspective that I was curious about. He added several personal stories that really enhanced the tour. I cannot give this tour a high enough rating. It was one of the top highlights of our trip to Northern Ireland and Ireland. Don't miss this tour! I would rate it six stars if I could.
