    When I did my tour with Paddy I had just finished a very good book about The Troubles called ‘Say Nothing’ Patrick Radden Keefe, and I wanted to understand more. I requested a Republican guide and it was a powerful and emotional tour. Paddy was extremely generous and helped me gain a very human perspective on that time and how fresh it is for this emerging and fascinating city. It helped make sense of so much. The gravity of this city’s history would have remained a story for me had I not had such an intimate perspective. The experience has stayed with me for a long while. Thank you so much.
