The guide was clearly very biased - to the extent that he came across as brainwashed perhaps. En route to the murals, we passed some notable landmarks such as the Divis flats, the cathedral and the site of very recent controversial bonfires. None of these were pointed out to us. Instead, he drove into and parked in an insignificant cul de sac. There, he joined us in the back of the cab and proceeded to lecture at length on his version of history. It has to be said that he was very generous with his time. But he certainly economized on his fuel. We felt we saw very little of what might have been shown on such a tour. We came away somewhat disappointed and unlikely to recommend your tours.

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour through Belfast's murals and sights related to the dark period of the late 20th century - the "Troubles." Our guide, Martin, was pretty intense - but authentic, charming, funny and down to earth. He's made peace with the past and is hopeful about the future, even with all he went through as part of the NRA. Highly recommend this tour if you want to learn the history of recent events and see hopeful signs for the future of this great city.
